A Personalized Practice Surrounded by Nature
Yoga is an ancient discipline that today is embraced around the world as one of the most effective tools for promoting physical and mental health, as well as spiritual well-being for people of all ages.
With full awareness that each person is unique, Valerio—the owner of this Tuscan Villa and yoga instructor, works with students on an individual level—selecting asanas best suited to their physical condition and emotional state. Through this tailored approach, students are gently guided toward greater body awareness, which gradually becomes a natural gateway to meditation and inner stillness.
The Teacher
Valerio is a certified yoga teacher, trained at the Santi School of Yoga & Vedanta Studies in Kochi, India. He has also completed multiple advanced courses in both Italy and India, continuously enriching his practice with new methods and deeper insight into traditional teachings.
Yoga Classes at the Villa
Yoga sessions last approximately 1 hour and begin early in the morning (6:30 – 7:00 a.m., depending on the season). Classes are held outdoors—on the Villa’s lawn, under the Patio, in the woods, or alongside the pool—offering an immersive sensory experience enriched by the sounds, scents, and views of the Tuscan countryside. Outdoor classes are available primarily from June to September, depending on weather conditions. In any case, lessons can also be held indoors if needed.
Each class includes:
A careful full-body warm-up;
A series of asanas tailored to individual needs;
Breathing techniques (Pranayama);
A final moment of meditation and relaxation.
