Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can understand what Villa Le Ginepraie means in my life. I discovered and renovated this beautiful 1600 farmhouse, together with the woman who was my wife at the time, back in 2006. I fell in love first of all with its location, dominant but harmonious in a landscape of rare extension and beauty, isolated but close to all amenities. I fell in love with the surrounding nature, lush but gentle, untamed but welcoming. And I fell in love with its lights, its silences and its enchanted atmosphere, capable of instilling well-being in anyone.
Villa Le Ginepraie, set in the heart of Tuscany, boasts ancient origins: it was once part of the Fattoria di Pignano, dating back to the 11th century and owned by the Marquises Incontri and Inganni. Originally, the farmhouse housed sharecroppers: the ground floor served as a stable, while on the second floor lived the farmers. Where the pool stands today, there was a small pelago that supplied water for the cows; the present laundry was the pigeon house, while the luxurious outbuilding was the pigsty. Built in the 1600s and almost untouched by time, Villa Le Ginepraie has been transformed from a rustic abandoned farmhouse into an exclusive Luxury Villa, where history, elegance and comfort come together to provide an unforgettable experience.
