A short distance from our Holiday home Villa le Ginepraie, are riding schools from which depart walks in the Reserve of Pignano with its rivers and lakes, the "Itinerario delle Ville e delle Pievi" of Volterra, the village abandoned Castelvecchio, the Natural Reserve of Monte Nero with its waterfalls and the Natural Reserve of Berignone (a beautiful horse ride that ends with the arrival at the "Masso delle Fanciulle" on the river Cecina where you can bathe, diving and swimming). Another beautiful hike is the one that ends with the visit of the Etruscan tombs in Volterra

LESSONS IN THE THE PADDOCK WITH INSTRUCTORS
For families who wish to bring their children to the horses, lessons are provided with horses inside the paddock. In complete safety the child will learn the basics of horseback riding.

PIGNANO
The riding school of Pignano is just 500 meters from our Villa, has paddock for beginners. This riding organizes walks of an hour or more in reserve of Pignano, in reserve of Montenero, and the hike to the reserve Berignone
AREA 52 PARK
This riding is located just outside of Volterra about 12 km from our villa, it has a paddock for beginners and a pony for children, organized excursions with a packed lunch and a visit to the Etruscan tombs and the original horseback riding with the full moon
SAMARCANDA
This riding stables is about 6 km from our villa, also organizes trips a day in reserve Berignone with the opportunity to swim at "il Masso delle Fanciulle"
