Trekking |
Leaving the rental Villa in Tuscany on foot, you can take various walks on the flat along shaded country roads to cover "itinerario delle ville e delle Pievi", or if you want something a bit more strenuous like trekking, there are plenty hill-walking routes of varying length and difficulty near Volterra, S.Gimignanoand Colle Val d'Elsa. In every case, the countryside that you come across is full of surprises: from streams with tiny waterfalls to delightful little lakes where you can take a dip, if you want, to cool off in the hot summer days. You can also book guided tours of the countryside or of Tuscany's art cities. a nature reserve, you may come across hares, wild boars, hawks, deer ..... |

Villa Le Ginepraie situated in the heart of Tuscany between San Gimignano, Volterra and Colle Val d’Elsa is only 40 mins to Siena and an hour to Florence. By arrangement, we also organize guided mini bus tours for a day or a week. |

We propose excursions of 4 hours or for the entire day with or without an accompanying guide, so you can visit the countryside between Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle Valdelsa, by following numerous off road tracks found in the locality surrounding the Villa |

Villa le Ginepraie offers day long to a week courses. You can choose to learn from 4 various techniques: distilling the essential oil from the plant, making infused plant oils, making a plant ointment or a plant based soap |

Villa le Ginepraie is in agreement with a local TAV clay pigeon shooting center, which is a 5min drive from the Villa. The owner of the center will be happy to introduce you to this sport or even organize private group contests |
