In the apartment you wish to choose from: ‘Girasole’ or ‘Rosso Fiorentino’ you will find:
Complimentary typical local Tuscan products, a bottle of the red Tuscan wine and in the fridge besides 2 bottles of water, 2 coca colas and 2 beers, a bottle of Vernaccia di San Gimignano (famous local white wine). On your arrival a tasting of cheeses and salamis in our dining ‘Inn’.
In the morning our ample breakfast awaits you with fresh homemade cakes or pastries, yogurt, fruit salad, fresh orange juice, cereals, toast, Nutella, jams and local honey. Teas, coffee, cappuccino etc… After breakfast a ‘people carrier’ with guide will take you to the cellars of San Gimignano to try the famous Vernaccia… and to the Chianti area to try the red wines they are so world famous for. In the afternoon you can choose to relax by the pool or visit Volterra where an aperitif will be offered to you courtesy of ‘Le Ginepraie’ at the wine bar “Made” and finally dinner out at “Bado” a typical Tuscan Trattoria restaurant.
Menù: (pappardelle pasta with wild rabbit sauce - wild boar baked in the oven served with its own rich juices - typical cantucci almond biscuits for dipping in Vin Santo dessert wine – water – local house wine – Grappa liquor – coffee). The following morning before your departure, breakfast in our dining area.
-For week long stays we foresee tastings in various farmhouses in the local area and tours of the numerous ‘wine roads’ of chianti Tuscany.
